I love this episode! Mindy's studies and her conversation with her Mum reminded me of when my high school sweetheart and I were in college together, and she was an anthropology major. My girlfriend was fascinated by polyandry, and she seemed excited to tell me how husbands in such communities would readily raise children conceived by their wife with other men. She and I were married right after college and now, after many years of marriage to her, I like to remind her of these "different" marital arrangements and urge her to copulate with many different men for pleasure. Proving that she is in charge, she refuses to do this, and my pleasure comes from imagining her as the heroine of this wonderful series.
